Visiting Cornerstone

It can be challenging to visit a new church, but we believe that you will find Cornerstone full of friendly people who will reach out to make you feel welcome.

Church should be a place of growth, refuge, and loving fellowship. We are striving for that here at Cornerstone. We hope that you and your family will connect with us, and that you too will draw closer to Jesus Christ through the worship services and ministries of CIBC.

Our desire first and foremost is to exalt Jesus Christ! With uplifting music and practical, biblical preaching you will be inspired and encouraged in your relationship with God.

What to Expect

When you arrive on our campus, make your way into our building using the most convenient entrance for you. As you enter, a friendly greeter will be available to direct you and answer any questions that you may have.

During the 9:45 a.m. hour, there are classes for all ages. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. Most adults attend our 10:45 a.m. worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, orchestra, ensembles, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from our pastor, Michael Willard. This service is a little over one hour in length.

There are no specific dress expectations at Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional Sunday dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable during your visit here at Cornerstone!

Children are a priority at Cornerstone. At every service there are safe, clean, staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. Mothers will receive a pager so that the nursery attendants can easily contact you if there is a need.

Fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes are provided for children four years old through the sixth grade.

Our seventh through twelfth grade students meet for Bible study Sundays at 9:45 a.m., and attend the Sunday morning worship service with their parents.
